The coffee bar and sitting area is more than just a transition from the kitchen to the living room. Beautifully designed and equally functional, the space’s custom cabinetry by Omega in Sherwin Williams’ Foxhall Green, completed by the quartzite countertops by Daltile and rustic black hardware by Masterbrand, provides an artful landing ground for the family’s coffee indulgences while cleverly storing cards, puzzles and everything else for family nights. What started out as a small, cramped kitchen and compromised dining room was completed transformed by replacing the load bearing wall and structural columns with a large gluelam beam by Boise Cascade. Shiplap walls lead from the coffee bar to the Americana and Modern Lodge guest suites.
