A custom aluminum sign crafted to look like post and beam construction welcomes guests to the property, and the gravel drive leads to newly widened front porch steps. The old rotting deck was completely removed and replaced with durable composite decking with CoolDeck technology from Moisture Shield, and the team choose cable railings from Feeney to allow for unobstructed views of the gorgeous landscape. Misty Mill’s log cabin was brought back to life with a specific regimen of pressure washing, new staining and re-chinking. The entire roof and fascia was replaced with standing-seam galvalume metal by Georgia Metals and LP® SmartSide® engineered wood trim and siding materials backed by an industry-leading 5/50 year limited warranty. Hardscapes by Belgard like the paver patios and sidewalks were installed to coordinate with the cabin’s stone foundation, adding both depth and interest with integrated landscape lighting to accentuate the property’s best features.
