Keeping it simple with an inlaid tile mosaic and a handy spot to sit to take off your shoes or coat, Misty Mill’s entryway brings utility up a notch in style. The foyer bath follow suit with cleverly planned functionality with plenty of personality. Outfitted with retro plumbing fixtures by Kohler, a black gooseneck light fixture over the zero entry shower by Barn Light Electric, and stark black-white contrasting wall tiles by Daltile, the space in unabashedly bold. The design team painted the undermount of the Brockway wall mounted sink and shower stool in vibrant Sherwin Williams Heartthrob (SW 6866) to tie in the eye-catching barn door and red-shaded wall sconces. To solve the issue of privacy without sacrificing the wide open views of the lake from the foyer, the team worked with Coastal Shower Doors to make a switchable glass picture window that fogs out when the barn door closes. An engineering solution to the rescue…and the best of both worlds, the view when you want it and the privacy when you need it.
